Washington Civil & Disability Advocate

Accessibility Statement

Washington Civil & Disability Advocate is guided by the simple but powerful proposition that all lives have equal dignity and worth. Our goals are advocating for justice, increasing accessibility, and ending discrimination of people with disabilities. In addition to litigation we conduct disability awareness and education efforts as well as information and referral assistance.

Washington Civil & Disability Advocate will make every reasonable effort to ensure that we conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and comply with the Department of Justice's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable regulations, this is a commitment that is built throughout our daily processes.

To accomplish this, we have partnered with eSSENTIAL Accessibility to administer our accessibility program and oversee its governance and ensure we are continually working to improve the user experience of our website and mobile. With the assistance of eSSENTIAL, we have a program in place that continually evaluates and audits our digital products on an ongoing basis in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies. The platform, moreover, goes beyond minimum compliance requirements by making an assistive CX technology application available to customers who have trouble typing, gesturing, moving a mouse, or reading. The application is free to download from our site and incorporates tools such as mouse and keyboard replacements, voice recognition, speech enablement, hands-free/touch-free navigation, and more.

Washington Civil & Disability Advocate celebrates all people, regardless of ability—and provides tools needed to enable a brighter future. We are here in the digital world to serve customers of all abilities, and we want our website and mobile experience to reflect inclusivity and diversity for everyone.

We welcome feedback on your experience on our sites. If you encounter any barrier accessing our website or mobile view, please contact us at info@essentialaccessibility.com.
