Crime Victims and Public Safety 

Crime victims and public safety programs work with the government and community-based organizations to stop violence through advocacy, prevention tactics, education, treatment, and law enforcement.  

Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs (WCSAP) 

The WCSAP provides information about the rights of crime victims. 

 

Vera Institute of Justice 

The Vera Institute of Justice has is focused on ending the abuse of persons with disabilities. They provide education about how to prevent the abuse of children and adults with disabilities, as well as how to understand the needs of survivors.  

Abuse or Neglect of a Child or Vulnerable Adult – Reporting 

Suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult in Washington State may be reported to the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) statewide abuse hotline at 1 (866) End-Harm (363-4276) any time. This link also provides information about the signs of abuse or neglect, along with multiple ways to report suspected abuse or neglect.
